The project ”Georgian Civil Society Sustainability Initiative” (CSSIGE) was developed and is implemented by the consortium lead by the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in cooperation with four Georgian Civil Society Organizations: Civil Society Institute (CSI), Center for Training and Consultancy (CTC), Center for Strategic Research and Development of Georgia (CSRDG) and Education Development and Employment Center (EDEC).

The overall objective of the initiative is to improve the operational environment for civil society in Georgia, through empowering CSOs, increasing their accountability towards constituencies and amplifying their linkages to other actors.
In order to ensure efficient outreach and sustainability of the CSSIGE and its outcomes nationwide, as well as contribute to experience sharing and networking on regional and national levels, the project established hubs in all 10 regions of Georgia. For Better Future (Now MMRH) is the regional hub for CSSIGE in the Mtskheta-Mtianeti Region.

Main Activities
- with the inhabitants of the regions, governmental structures, interested individuals, FBF is pleased to share the information (in Georgian and English language) regarding the civil society organizations in the region, associations and community networks, according the municipalities.
- In order to provide information to the civil society representatives, local government, business and media outlets, FBF (Now MMRH) offers informational meetings for those, who are interested about planned activities within the frame of CSSIGE project.
- Civil society and community based organizations, community activists and business sector representatives are joined in the online platform, where FBF shares the information regarding upcoming events, plans activities together with them and shares useful links about exchange programs and international liabilities.
- Interested individuals can get familiar with the report of past ten years of Mtskheta-Mtianeti Regional Hub, report is available on FBF’s website – www.yfbf.org
- CSO, CBOs and civil society representatives are able to check out Regional Hub’s activities through Youtube and Facebook platform, as well as to see the stories of successful projects that are implemented by the regional organizations.
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti regional hub conducts the research and needs assessment of the civil society and community based organization in the region. Results of the research can be used for interested parties in order to determine the upcoming activities based on the needs that are proofed in the research.
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti Regional Hub promotes the networking of the civil society organizations in the region. For this reason, FBF initiated the establishment of regional network, which aims to support the partnership of CSO and active citizens for positive changes in the region.
- Hub provides trainings of community mobilization, volunteering and effective communicatin in the region in order to increase the number of the activities conducted by local organizations.
- Hub organizes annual volunteering week for youngsters living in Mtskheta, Dusheti, Tianeti, Kazbegi and in displaced municipality of Akhalgori.

Mtskheta-Mtianeti Regional Hub is the hub organization of the regional Civil Society Organizations network. It has an important role and status, and here's what it means:
The Mtskheta-Mtianeti regional network is a non-formal coalition of 34 civil society organizations of the region. Its main goal is to promote partnerships with active local citizens, media outlets, experts and local and central government in order to support sustainable development goals.

Each district is home to a certain number of organizations, all falling under the jurisdiction of the regional network. As we are the regional hub organization, it is our job to moderate and monitor internal interactions of the networks, as well as develop communication with other regional hubs.
